How to make trousers
These trousers are made of four pieces of fabric - two for each leg - and are held up by elastic at the waist band.
The trousers can be made fairly narrow or with baggy legs. They can be made as full length trousers or as shorts. They can sit at the waist, clinging to the body to create a curved figure, or on the hips for a more casual look. They can be held up with multiple rows of rouched elastic for a decorative finish, or with a single band of elastic.
