Designing the books
Each double page spread of DIYcouture's books is individually designed so that the instructions are accessible, attractive and easy to follow. Pages are kept simple, with plenty of white space so that the eyes naturally follow the progression of the construction process.
Rosie Martin of DIYcouture works with her dad, Rodger Martin at his office in East Harptree, Somerset. Rodger Martin trained as a typographer before Apple Macs were invented but is now equally talented when it comes to maneuvering a mouse as he was at stencilling and spray mounting.
